Be willing to see beyond the moment. Be present in your relationships. When you’re with someone, don’t be distracted by your phone or other thoughts; be fully present with them. This will make them feel more loved and valued as well as bring more joy into their own life. If you’re like most people, you tend to dwell on the past and worry about the future. But when it comes to happiness, the present moment is all that matters. If you’re feeling down, it’s easy to lose perspective and forget this fact. The past is gone; it cannot be changed or undone. The future hasn’t happened yet; you don’t know what will happen next. But you do know that this moment is all you have and it’s up to you how you spend it.
Be willing to live in the moment accepting that which is. It’s about being present, being aware of what is going on around you, and being fully in touch with yourself and your surroundings. The only way you can have a good life is to be willing to live in the moment and accept what is. You must choose to be happy, not just when things are going well, but also when they are not going well.
